Past Continuous Tense

# অতীতকালে কোন কাজ কিছুক্ষণ ধরে চলছিল বোঝালে Past ContinuousTense হয়।

(Past Continuous Tense is used when the action was continued for some time in the past)
#এই Tense- এ বাংলা ক্রিয়ার শেষে ‘তেছিল’, ‘তেছিলে’, ‘তেছিলাম’ ইত্যাদি থাকে।

Sentence structure
[Subject + was/were + (Verb+ing) + Object(যদি থাকে)]

আমি ফুটবল খেলিতেছিলাম (খেলছিলাম) – I was plying foot ball .
আমরা ফুটবল খেলিতেছিলাম (খেলছিলাম) – We were plying foot ball.
তুমি/তোমরা ফুটবল খেলিতেছিলে (খেলছিলে) – You were plying foot ball.
সে ফুটবল খেলিতেছিল (খেলছিল) -He/She was plying foot ball.
তাহারা ফুটবল খেলিতেছিল (খেলছিল) – They were plying foot ball.
গত সন্ধ্যায় সে কি করছিল? – What was she doing in the last evening.
