Present Indefinite Tense

# কোন কাজ বর্তমানে হয় বোঝালে বা আভ্যাসগত সত্য বোঝালে বা চিরসত্য
বোঝালে Present Indefinite tense হয়।
(Present Indefinite tense denotes an action in
the present time or habitual truth or eternal truth.)

# এই tense-এ বাংলায় মূল ক্রিয়া ব্যবহিত হয় এবং ইংরেজিতেও শুধু মূল verb ব্যবহিত হয়।
তবে subject Third Person Singular Number হলে verb এর শেষে s বা es যোগ হয়।

Sentence structure
[Subject +Verb(s/es)+Object]

আমি বই পড়ি- I read a book.
আমরা বই পড়ি- We read a book.
তুমি/তোমরা বই পড় You read a book.
সেই বই পড়ে- He reads a book.
তাহারা বই পড়ে- They read a book.
সূর্য পূর্ব দিকে উঠে – The sun rises in the east.
পানি শূণ্য ডিগ্রি সেন্টিগ্রেডে জমাট বাধেঁ- Water freezes at 0° centigrade.
